Nansady Keita Music Worldwide invited Guinea Djembefola Nansady Keita to the UK in 2006 to join the Drum Camp teaching Line-up. Nasady is now engaged on other projects for Music Worldwide and has proved himself without doubt a master performer, teacher and session musician. We will be working with him over the next 12 months with educational, recording and live performance work.

Nansady has performed and conducted workshops in Japan, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium and France. He features on five of Famoudou Konate CDs including most recently ‘Hamana Föli Kan’ and ‘Hamana Mandenkönö’. He is thoroughly well acquainted with the repertoire of traditional Malinké rhythms and songs from his homeland.
Nansady plays djembe, dununba, sanbang, kenkeni, krin, balafon, djiidunun, bolon, gongoma, dunsokuni and koworo, amongst other traditional West African instruments.
